The House Cafe Interior Artwork
We designed a mural for The House Café’s flagship Nişantaşı location. The restaurant is in the Işkece Apartment, a distinctive 1934 building designed by the noted architect Mimar Abidin. We took visual references from the art of that era and integrated this visual approach with the building’s unqiue style. We also interwove The House Café’s famous garden, its signature lemonade, and the bird that forms a part of its branding into the mural’s artwork. We translated the uplifting feeling of being in the café’s garden into the building’s entrance.
